This is my 2nd Visual Basic Tutorial and it will show you how to add two numbers together and display the answer. After we get the answer to be calculated and displayed, I will then show you how to clear the form. In this tutorial I will show you how to create a integer variable to store data in and how to preform a simple calculation.
This tutorial covers the basics of Visual Basic programming. You will learn about objects, properties, and events. I show you how to create a simple program where when the user clicks on a button a label becomes visible that says, “Programming is Fun.” If you have not already, you will need to install Visual Basic. If you need help, check out my tutorial on installing Visual Studio.
I am getting ready to start a programming tutorial series on C++ and Visual Basic. For these tutorials you will need to download and install Visual Studio 2010 Express. A link to the download is available on the downloads page. I recommend downloading the .iso image file and burning that to a disc. This is just my personal preferance and I prefer it because you do not have to download multiple file and if you would have a friend that would want to try the software you can let them use the disc and they will not have to wait while the .iso downloads.
A detailed video on how to install the software is below.
