This tutorial takes you through the process of installing the LAMP stack on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.  LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySql, and php.  This tutorial assumes that you already have Ubuntu installed onto your system.

Getting Ready:

sudo apt-get update

Install Apache2:

sudo apt-get install apache2

Install MySQL:

sudo apt-get install mysql-server libapache2-mod-auth-mysql php5-mysql

Install PHP:

sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-mcrypt

Install Phpmyadmin:

sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin
